Calmer coordination for families in two homes.
Northloop Labs builds thoughtful software that helps co-parents share schedules, handoffs, and expenses, clearly, kindly, and in one place.
It’s Maya’s weekend, with pickup on Friday at 4:00 PM. From the shared record:
School pickup: Friday
4:00 PM · Maya and Daniel can both see it, neither has to ask.
Handoff confirmed
Weekend bag, medication, and the permission slip, checked off together.
Shared expense settled
Soccer registration split evenly, no screenshots, no chasing receipts.
A preview of the shared family record, answered through the Northloop connector. In private development.
What happened. Not how it felt.
The connector keeps a single evidentiary record of the case, built from the emails, messages, and documents you already hold, and kept in step with the live case file: parenting plan drafts, orders, and counsel correspondence. Entries are flat and first person. The medium of every fact is recorded. Nothing is ever deleted.
Flat. Evidentiary. In your voice.
Every entry states what happened, when it happened, and where it came from. No interpretation, no scoring, no spin.
- The medium of every fact is recorded: email, text, call log, calendar
- Entries written first person, in your own voice
- Kept aligned with the live case file as documents change
Both positions, checked against the documents.
When two parents remember things differently, the connector checks both accounts against the documents on file and reports what it finds, either way.
- Claims verified against the parenting plan, orders, and correspondence
- Reported even when the record does not support your position
- Disagreements shown as disagreements, never smoothed over
Privileged stays privileged.
Attorney-client material is tagged PRIVILEGED and excluded from anything the connector produces. And nothing is ever recorded: the evidence is the written record you already have.
- No audio recording, ever. Call history means time and duration only
- PRIVILEGED material never appears in summaries or productions
- Nothing is deleted. Corrections are appended, not overwritten
Connected to the assistant you already use.
Our connector is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard that lets AI assistants work with your tools. Ask a question in plain language. The answer comes from your shared family record, not from memory or guesswork.
You ask
“Whose weekend is it, and what does the bag need?” Asked the way you’d ask a person.
Northloop connector
Reads the shared calendar, handoffs, and expenses, with permission, and only what you’ve shared.
You get an answer
“It’s Maya’s weekend. Pickup is Friday at 4, and the soccer uniform still needs washing.”
Designed to feel safe.
Software for separated families carries a responsibility most software never faces. These are the rules we build by.
Safety first, always
Every feature is reviewed against one question: could this make a hard situation harder? Location is never shared by default, contact stays inside the product, and either parent can pause sharing at any time.
Neutral by design
The product takes no side. Language is plain and even-handed, records are identical for both parents, and nothing is ranked, scored, or framed as winning and losing.
Private by architecture
Family data is sensitive data. We collect the minimum needed to coordinate, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and never sell it or use it for advertising. Ever.
Kids at the center
The measure of every decision is whether life gets calmer and more predictable for the children moving between two homes. If it doesn’t help them, it doesn’t ship.
Co-parenting is hard. Your messages don’t have to be.
The record comes first. These tools layer on top of it, and every one of them feeds it: a message you checked, a rewrite you chose, an expense you logged, all kept in the same evidentiary form.
The message tools
Check before you send
Paste in any message before it goes out. The connector flags anything that could read as hostile, sarcastic, or likely to start an argument, and tells you whether your tone comes across as calm, neutral, or heated. It’s the pause button you wish you had at 11 p.m., and the check itself becomes part of the record.
Rewrite with confidence
Turn a heated message into one that is short, clear, and focused on your child. You keep your point and your boundaries; the rewrite takes out only what could hurt you later. Every rewrite comes with a note on what changed and why, and both versions stay in the record.
Stand your ground
Calm doesn’t mean giving in. The connector will never coach you to give up your rights just to keep the peace. If you tend to back down to avoid conflict, it helps you say what you mean, kindly and firmly.
Safety comes first
If a message mentions danger or abuse, the check stops and points you to real help, right away.
Built for your state
Tell the connector where you live and the guidance follows your state’s rules. Starting with Florida, with more states on the way.

Good things take a loop or two.
Northloop Labs is a small, independent studio. Our first product for co-parents is being built carefully, and tested with real families, before it opens to everyone.
Privacy Policy
Northloop Labs builds software for co-parents. Family information is sensitive information, and this policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the Northloop connector, which is currently in private development.
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to keep your shared family record. That includes the information you choose to connect or share with the connector: emails, messages, documents, calendar entries, and case files, along with the facts drawn from them. If you contact us, we keep your name, your email address, and the contents of your message so we can reply.
We do not record audio, ever. Call history, where you share it, means the time and duration of a call only.
How we use it
We use your information to run the connector: to build and maintain your record, to answer your questions from that record, and to check accounts against the documents on file. We use it for nothing else.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never use it for advertising, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers. Location is never shared by default.
Privileged material
Material you mark, or that is identified, as attorney-client correspondence is tagged PRIVILEGED. Privileged material is excluded from summaries, exports, and anything the connector produces for sharing.
When we share information
We share information only in three situations: with the people you choose to share your record with, with the service providers who help us operate (such as hosting and AI providers, under contract and only as needed to run the service), and when the law requires it. Nothing is shared with your co-parent or anyone else unless you choose to share it.
Security
Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside Northloop Labs is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but protecting this data is the first design rule of everything we build.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to delete it. Inside the record, entries are never silently rewritten: corrections are appended, so the history stays honest. Either parent can pause sharing at any time. To make a request, write to hello@northlooplabs.io.
Children
Northloop is a tool for parents and guardians. Accounts are for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Information about children appears only as part of the family coordination their parents choose to record.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. Changes that affect how your information is used will be announced before they take effect.

Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Northloop Labs for using this website and the Northloop connector. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Northloop Labs provides software that helps co-parents keep a shared record and coordinate schedules, handoffs, and expenses. The connector is in private development. Features may change, launch later than described on this site, or not launch at all, and nothing on this website is a promise that a feature will be available on a particular date.
Not legal advice
The connector helps with communication and organization. Northloop Labs is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and using the service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Summaries of statutes and rules are general information, not advice about your case. For legal questions, talk to an attorney licensed in your state.
Your record, your responsibility
The record is built from the material you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you share with the connector, and for having the right to share it. Entries are kept as provided: corrections are appended rather than overwritten, so the record reflects what was said and when. You should keep your own copies of important documents.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to harass, threaten, or surveil another person, to access an account or record that is not yours, or to break the law. We may suspend or end access for use that puts another person at risk.
Your content
What you share with the connector stays yours. You give Northloop Labs only the permission needed to store, process, and display it back to you and to the people you choose to share it with. Our handling of that content is described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
This website, the Northloop Labs name and logo, and the software itself belong to Northloop Labs. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them except as these terms allow.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the record accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error free, uninterrupted, or accepted as evidence by any court. Decisions about your family and your case remain yours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Northloop Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its date, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
